Arcana VIII- JUSTICE
Character: Ryhen/ Henry Jekyll

Justice Holds a Sword and a Balance. The Sword means Justice of mankind, often obtained by violence, while the Balance means Justice of Nature.

This card is Dual, but often Positive.
However if reversed, the Balance may mean Inner Suffering.
As a matter of fact, the balance between Good and Evil is always precarious due to the struggle between the two parts.

This Arcana is a way to remember that
"Your sins will find you out."
A man who is in peace with his self may find solace in the Balance; A man who committed Evil deeds instead must fear the blade of the sworld.







"La giustizia tiene in mano una spada e una bilancia. La spada simboleggia la giustizia che si fanno gli uomini, e la bilancia riferisce invece alla giustizia naturale.

La doppia simbologia con riferimento anche alla violenza non deve comunque preoccupare poichè questa carta ha carattere prevalentemente positivo.

Da sottolineare è il significato della bilancia come travaglio interiore. Infatti l'equilibrio tra bene e male simboleggiato dalla bilancia è sempre precario e dato dalla continua tensione delle due forze antitetiche.

Questo Arcano ci ricorda che tutti i nodi vengono al pettine. L'individuo in pace con la propria coscienza può trovare conforto nella bilancia; quello che ha commesso azioni malvagie deve invece temere invece la lama della spada."
